I’ve got it! I was just thinking again, so those of you who thought there was a ball bearing truck that turned over on 169…. You can go about your business.
If people would spend ½ as much time worrying about what they themselves have to do, rather than spending their time worrying about what someone else has not done, or did… the world would be a better place and run more efficient! This concept applies to all politicians or want to bee’s as well (referring to campaigns).
A press release from the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State:
Did anyone else see that some special interest group is trying to bribe... uh, I mean lobby for more limits on free air T.V.?
I think they pretty much got their way already, for the most part, with the transition to digital.... I hope nobody gets dumb on this one and allows this to happen.
Not to argue the point of healthcare or not, but to question how the conclusion has been pursued.
Long ago there was a group of people (who either had extensive time on their hands or decided that they would like to do away with a small group of people that they felt were not beckoning to their whims). They gathered support of a few of the locals and set out on a mission to discredit and do away with those who would oppose them. Eventually they had removed many of those they were certain were wrong doers. Years later after reflecting upon the happenings, people realized how wrong those who initiated the cause were. It was not at all what they had thought.
Thank You Veterans for all that you have done!
I keep seeing reports suggesting that when consumer spending is high, the economy is looking up, and spending increased when the government threw money at us (most specifically, the Cash for Clunkers deal). Now that the program is over, spending is down, and it sounds like people are getting worried again. I don't know any details, but I've also heard of more stimulus talk and maybe even more money to come.
So is this how the next three years are going to go? If we don't spend our money the goverment will just keep throwing cash at us? I don't see that working out so well.
Mark Buesgens is – if only for one day – an amateur prophet of sorts.
A Whole Ball of Wax
I had heard some time ago that English is not the official language of the United States.
Since we all have had to take classes like English and American Literature etc. in school, we all have a stake in this.
Since it is not the official language and American English is nothing like Brittan’s English… wouldn’t that make the language that we have been taught actually not a language at all? I mean as it has not been officially stamped then it must not even be a real language at all.
A press release titled "1,000,000,000 REASONS WHY THE DFL IS HOPELESSLY LOST: Funding for Metro area dog park takes precedence over balancing state’s budget deficit" from state Rep. Mark Buesgens:
ST. PAUL--Defying all logic, eschewing their Constitutional oath, and completely ignoring the state’s $4.8 billion budget deficit, House Democrats have for a second time scheduled a hearing for a bill which will spend $1 million to build a metro area dog park.
