Recently, I've been getting some e-mails from U.S. Rep. John Kline's office related to his YouTube page.
There is some interesting stuff on here: http://www.youtube.com/user/repjohnkline.
Just thought you might be interested, seeing as he's Jordan's representative in the U.S. House. Take a look.
A press release from the office of U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, DFL-Minn.:
A press release from the office of U.S. Rep. John Kline:
WASHINGTON –- Minnesota Congressman John Kline strongly opposed Speaker Pelosi’s proposed government takeover of health care (H.R. 3962) that passed tonight in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Pelosi health care bill will cost at least $1.3 trillion and includes $730 billion in new taxes and $500 billion in cuts to Medicare.
WASHINGTON – In an effort to increase transparency and accountability in the federal government, Minnesota Congressman John Kline joined more than two dozen members of Congress to launch http://Sunshine.gop.gov, an interactive website that allows taxpayers to track how their hard-earned money is being spent.
A press release from the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation:
Yesterday, the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) hand delivered more than 4,000 postcards signed by Farm Bureau members from Minnesota to Washington, D.C. The postcards ask Minnesota’s members of Congress and Senators to oppose the federal climate change legislation being considered.
A press release from the office of U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar:
MINNEAPOLIS –- Surrounded by safe driving advocates, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar announced her support Saturday for federal legislation that would establish a nationwide ban on “texting while driving.”
“No text message is so urgent or important that it’s worth dying for,” Klobuchar said. “Texting while driving is not safe. We need drivers to stay alert and keep their eyes on the road, both for their own safety and the safety of all of us.”
google "white house flag" and see what you think. It will tell you to send emails to flag@whitehouse.gov.
They have taken more response to push a plan than they have taken to conrol themselves. I can't tell who is right or who is wrong anymore.
As far as the Health Care stuff on either side, I can not claim to know what is what with it. I am kind of leaning toward the “it’s not so good of a deal” in my mind.
I am a bit concerned over the irresponsible reporting by our mass medias (that would be television) as well as how they seem to manipulate public perception to fit their needs. I know that they might say things like “it is what the people demand” but really, how credible of a source do they really want to be?
With the disappearance of credible source “such as the written word” which can also be off from time to time, we are setting ourselves up for Looney Tunes accuracy in reports which has been part of the problem for the crisis that we are currently in.
U.S. Rep. John Kline's office made me aware of this story in today's Washington Post:
Kline, GOP Leaving ‘No Child’ Behind
In John Kline, House Republicans have chosen an education policy leader eager to turn the page on No Child Left Behind, and roll back federal mandates for testing students
