Last year I was invited to the Prior Lake fireworks, but I didn’t go because by the time my friends were ready to leave our pre-fireworks fireworks party, we would have been too far away to enjoy the real show. This year I may try the Eden Prairie fireworks.

New Prague has always had a very nice fireworks display. Last year we came back from our camping trip on the 4th, unhitched the camper and headed to New Prague to watch fireworks. We arrived at our usual spot at our usual time. We thought something was odd because not many people were set up to watch. I called some friends from New Prague and asked what was happening.

Here New Prague decided to display their fireworks on the 3rd. We missed by 24 hours. Our friends said if you want to see fireworks head to Veseli.

Veseli is, a church and bar town of about a 100, a few miles east of New Prague.

Boy, do they celebrate the 4th.

They have the parade during the day and then to my surprise a very nice fireworks display in the evening.

We usually head to Duluth to watch them at Canal Park over the lift bridge, well worth the $150.00 in gas to pull the camper up there.

I wish I could be at Mount Rushmore for the fireworks. I bet that will be beautiful.

My husband and I watch fireworks from our
yard. We can see fireworks displays from several
cities from our property. I like that much better than being where the noise is.
