More than half of today's workers expect to continue working until they're age 65 or older. But many people who are now retired actually retired before age 65.

- 7 percent plan to retire before age 55

- 10 percent plan to retire between ages 55-59

- 10 percent plan to retire between ages 60-61

- 11 percent plan to retire between ages 62-64

- 27 percent plan to retire at age 65

- 24 percent plan to retire at age 66 or older

Current retirees ...

- 14 percent retired before age 55

- 21 percent retired between ages 55-59

- 7 percent retired between ages 60-61

- 25 percent retired between ages 62-64

- 13 percent retired at age 65

- 15 percent retired at age 66 or older
