Back to page topNo matter what, in March, when it is the same temperature you will find yourself pulling out the short shirts. Some bone head will be out sunning on their deck and then probably have to go to the Doctor. I have grown to love the cold, it makes you appreciate the warm. It makes me smile when my kids run in from the bus and ask me to make them hot chocolate. You only need to worry about starting your car when it hits the ten below area. If you have slow starts already, you better get your car over to Brad or Brett to have it fixed. I personally can not wait for the weather when you walk and the crunch sound echos crisply for miles. When you breath and your nose sticks together. All of us up Nord are tough and we love the fact that it gets too cold for even the theives to come out. HAPPY HOLIDAYS and break out the winter underwear.

Back to page topI've been known to wear three layers even once spring is in full bloom and autumn is just starting up; my fingernails will turn blue (no joke) on a regular basis, and when I'm really cold I can actually manage to cool a small room just by being in it. I've survived 13 upper Midwest winters and I truly comment those who aren't bothered by the cold, but for my part, I really miss my ocean climate!
