I am thankful that I am still working, even though my work will be closing it’s doors at the end of the month, Amtrak Guest Rewards will be moving their call center to Canada, why? I have no idea; Amtrak only goes to 2 cities in Canada. They also receive government funding and if they do this funding should be denied to them. Ok this isn’t a sounding board so let be get back to the subject.
I am grateful for the outstanding fall we had. The colors on the trees were wonderful and long lasting. It was a breathtaking fall we had this year.
I am grateful for living in Jordan. I cannot see myself living anywhere else. Jordan has such a wonderful mixture of turn of the century homes and contemporary homes. I like the way Jordan hangs onto its roots while still building the future.
Most of the people in Jordan are warm and inviting and a pleasure to meet. Even though I live in the trailer park, I do love the area I live in. I can walk out my door and wonder out into the woods to check out the wild flowers and wild life. Joe and I often talked about buying a home. I tell him ok sure as long as we stay in here in Jordan.
I am grateful for my ghost hunting group. The members of the team are a great bunch of people. We are more of a family the a group. We have grown so much since we first started here in Minnesota. Unlike so many other groups who just sit back and say “yep you got ghosts” we work with our clients to help cross the spirits over. Though many of our clients don’t want their spirits to leave, they will permit us to at least tell the spirits how they can cross over when they are ready.
I am grateful for the donations that were giving to our group, like the thermo camera and laptops. Having the laptops has made me mobile as far as teaching the ghost hunting classes. I now can go to the students home that live to far for them to drive to mine.
I am of course grateful to Joe; he is my friend and my family and has helped me feel no so home sick since I moved here.
I am grateful for knowing Mathias Baden. He is a quite kind man whose curiosity is tremendous. He has done a wonderful job with the Jordan Independent newspaper.
I am grateful for so many other things, such as my health, it could be worse but I am working on getting better. My family, even though they are scattered all over the country now, I still am able to keep in touch with them. My friends, they too have helped me get over my homesickness in the beginning.
