I work in an office building that is about 50 years old. Many times I have to work late to make sure a project is finished. Often when I am there late at night I will hear voices behind me, when I look around, no one is near me. Some times when I am there by myself, I hear what sounds like an old fashion typewriter typing. Very often I will feel someone standing behind me. I have tried asking some of my co-workers if they have ever heard anything strange when they stayed late. I will often get a funny response like, “I stayed late once, never again.” But they won’t go into detail.

My question is, can an office building be haunted?

Answer

It might be, but before we decide that your office is haunted, let’s try to find a more logical explanation for your experiences.

Working in front of a computer all day, you’re exposed to high EMF for at least 8 hours. Some of the affects of high emf exposure are feeling paranoid, hearing footsteps, the feeling of being watched, sleep disturbance, tiredness, depression, headaches, restlessness, irritability, concentration problems, forgetfulness, learning difficulties, frequent infections, blood pressure changes, limb and joint pains, numbness or tingling sensations, tinnitus, hearing loss, impaired balance, giddiness and eye problems.

With this in mind, when your working later then usual, your exposure is higher, this might explain the feeling of someone standing behind you and it might also explain the sound of voices behind you. However, if there are other people in the office with you at the time you hear the voices, the sound of them talking may have carried and bounced around the office. I have experienced that myself at my work. Finally the clicking sound you have heard may be a ventilation fan turning off and slowing down.

People spend so much time at work; it really is like a second home. Through the years people come and go and some people do die. Would some of these people who have passed away come back to visit their work? Of course they would. If a person who died did not know that they had passed away, may keep going to work and doing the things they had did during their lifetime.

These are just some of the explanations, unless I am able to investigate the location, it’s hard to say just what is going on in your building. Keep in mind that you have not been harmed, just spooked. The affects from the exposure to the High EMF will slowly reverse itself as you keep away from it. When you take your breaks, walk away from your computer and give your body a break.

I have a new house, less then 10 years old. But ever since we moved into the house strange things have been happening. We have heard walking in the hallways, or the sounds of someone walking up and down the stairs when no one is there. Sometimes when we get up in the morning we will find the drawers open or the back door open when we know we locked it before we went to bed. We don’t smoke, and yet every once in the while we will smell a cigar smell.

I feel that the house may be haunted, but how could this be possible, we are the first owners?

Answer

There are several ways a house can be haunted.

Do you have any antiques? Some spirits will stay with an object that they loved during their live.
What was on the land before your house was built? It would be a good idea to find out if there was another home there.
Could it be a relative coming to visit you to see your new home and to make sure that you’re all right?
Last be not least, you might have a walking spirit. Walking spirit don’t stay in one place, they travel from place to place or home to home.

You didn’t tell say how often these occurrences happen. Are they getting stronger? Keep a journal of all the events of what is happening in your home. Contact me if you would like us to come over.

I own a business and I keep getting reports from my employees that they are having some very strange experiences. Some of them see shadowy figures walking around when they are closing up at night. Some are hearing voices, one girl quit after she took the files to the basement; she said something grabbed her arm. I would like you to come over but I do not want people to know you have come over. I don’t want the other businesses near me to know I have a ghost problem.

Answer

We fully understand how you feel. We try to be as discreet as possible. None of us wear uniforms, and our cars are not marked. We look like we are customers or visitors coming to your home or business. We also do not come with a mob of people. The number of people will come depends on the size of the location.
