I noticed a little blurb in the JI this week that the Jaguar Volleyball team topped the state tourney in GPA. I thought that was a nice honor. When I read a little further I was blown away by the team average of 3.98, incredible.
Being state Champions is awesome and the girls are deserved of the spoils that go with that, but they should hold this honor just as high.
Great job ladies.

I agree. Too often both...
Back to page topI agree. Too often both athletes and coaches forget the emphasis that these young people are STUDENT athletes. Student first, athlete second. This proves the teachers, coaches and athletes are doing their jobs in the correct order. Truly amazing and hopefully inspiring.
