Dr. Colette Hyman, professor of history at Winona State University, will present her article, Survival at Crow Creek 1863 - 1866, at the historic Pond House at 2 p.m. The article, which appeared in the Winter 2008/2009 issue of the Minnesota History Quarterly, delves into a subject that needs to be discussed as we approach the 150th anniversary of the U.S./Dakota War of 1862.
