I wanted to let everyone know that three major-selling pop-rock bands are coming to Southdale Center and Maplewood Mall on Aug. 16th and 17th: A Cursive Memory, Your Vegas, and Kate Voegele. They’re performing FREE concerts at those malls as part of a national tour put on by the malls’ owner, Simon Property Group. The concert starts at 2 pm on the 16th and 3 pm on the 17th.

A student lead youth group called Step Up started this summer at the hub we have been putting on services every thursday from 7 to 8:30 and now the school is starting we have decided to change the services to sunday night due to sports. We thought that it would be pretty awsome to have our first sunday service with our parents so Sunday September 7 we are having a Step Up family Block Pary on water st. from 6pm to 9pm hope to see you there!!!

The Scott County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility and RE-USE Room will be closed on Saturday, August 30th, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. They will reopen for normal operation on Wednesday, September 3rd.

The Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Miss Jordan Ambassador Program pageant will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008 at the OK Corral, 20201 Johnson Memorial Drive.
Tickets can be purchased at www.jordanchamber.org, the chamber office, or Flagship Bank. The price of the ticket is $15.00 and this include a chicken dinner.
