Understanding Knowledge Bowl: team Gold

Team Plaid weren’t the only students representing Jordan during the regional Knowledge Bowl competition last week. Team Gold, made up of Jordan Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade students, also earned the right to compete at the regional meet. While they didn’t crack the top ten in final scores, they earned valuable experience that they can use in future years.

Why he joined the team: “I thought it would be interesting. It’s really fun.”

Favorite thing about Knowledge Bowl: “The questions and getting out of school. And learning about different types of gas stations.” (The team loves to stop at different gas stations on their way to and from meets.)
Why he joined the team: "My mom made me join. I think she was trying to punish me."
