Suverna M. Hennen

Suverna Hennen, 80, of Prior Lake, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 17, 2008.Suverna Hennen

Suverna was born Nov. 26, 1927 in Credit River Township to Alois and Hildegard (Theis) Klehr. She married Clarence Frank Hennen on April 29, 1947 at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church at Marystown. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and was the president for two years. Suverna was also a member of the St. Michael’s C.C.W. She cooked and catered for many weddings in the area.

Loved and forever missed by children, Carol (Tom) Muelken of Shakopee, Rose (Paul) Krueger of Prior Lake, Alice (Robert) Busacker of Jordan, Dolores (Harlan) Poppler of Carver, Michael (Crystal) Hennen of Prior Lake, Betty (Gerald ) Meuffels of Cologne, Paul (Nellie) Hennen of Cologne, Theresa (Allen) Hanson of Jordan, Daniel Hennen of Cologne, Allen (Laura) Hennen of Jordan, Ann (Pat) Schuneman of Arlington, Mary Hennen of Prior Lake; 34 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Klehr of Prior Lake; sisters, Mary (Francis) Mahowald of Prior Lake, Anna Mae Von Bokern of Shakopee.

She was preceded by husband, Clarence F. Hennen; daughter, Barbara Hennen; and parents.

Visitation was Sunday, July 20, from 3-8 p.m. at Church of St. Michael, Prior Lake, and also 1-1/2 hours prior the service on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Michael. Interment at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Prior Lake. Pallbearers were Mark Muelken, Sara Hanson, Eric Poppler, Greg Meuffels, Laura Schuneman, Justin Hennen, Kimberly Hennen, Amanda Hennen.

Loretta Mae Heuer

Loretta Heuer, 65, of Prior Lake and formerly of St. Paul, went with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 20, 2008. Loretta Heuer

Loretta was born Aug. 10, 1942 in Erin Township, Rice County, Minn. to parents Leonard and Albina (Turek) Tupa.

She married John Heuer on Aug. 27, 1965 in Sissiton, S.D. This beloved wife, mother and grandmother epitomized “well done my good and faithful servant.” She was a member of the IBEW Local 110 Retirees Club and Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran Church. Loretta lived her life as an amazing wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Loved and forever missed by devoted husband of 43 years, John Heuer; children, Kelly Heuer of Shakopee, Nick (Jodi) Heuer of Elk River, Tamara (John) Zaic of Blaine, Dr. Gregory (Kim) Heuer of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, (all perfect, according to Nana) Alexander Zaic, Austin Heuer, Lindsey Zaic, Mitchell Zaic, Brady Heuer; sister, Leatta (Robert) Blumberg of WBL; sisters-in-law, Marianne Anderson of Woodbury, Kay (Bruce) Wood of Winthrop, Wash.; brother-in-law, George (Judy) Heuer of Eagan; nieces and nephews, Scott (Roxanne), Ron (Cathy), Todd (Dawn), Mark (Beth), Dianne (Dale), Kim (Rob), Troy, Kathy (Darren), David (Jennifer); special “adopted” daughter, Brenda.

She was preceded by her parents; brother-in-law, Ronald Anderson.

Visitation was held Wednesday, July 23, from 4-8 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, and also one hour prior the service at church.

Memorial service will be Thursday, July 24, at noon at Trinity Lutheran Lone Oak Lutheran Church, 2950 Highway 55, Eagan, Minn. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Pallbearers are Scott Heuer, Todd Heuer, Mark Heuer, Troy Heuer, Ron Anderson, Steve Anderson, David Blumberg.
