Anthony Paul Lehnen

Anthony Lehnen, 41, of Shakopee and formerly of Jordan, died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

Survivors include sister, Elaine (Daniel) Hier, and brother, Kenneth (Jennifer) Lehnen; and many other relatives.

Graveside services were held Thursday, June 26, at Calvary Cemetery in Jordan.

Verdelle Josephine Seidel

Verdelle Seidel, 71, of Prior Lake, was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord on the morning of June 29, 2008.

She was born to Alex and Josephine Ramerth of Dundee, Minn. on Oct. 6, 1936. She married the love of her life and best friend, Ted Seidel, on June 19, 1961.

She is the loving mother of Julie (Loren) McCaghy of Hartford, Conn., Thea (Mark) Svihel of Oak Grove, Minn., Kristine (Jason) Bruce of Lakeville and John (Jennifer) Seidel of Champlin. Verdelle was the ever adoring grandmother to Nathan, Ryan, Mackenzie Svihel, Lexy and Livvy Bruce and Keara and Ava Seidel. She is survived by three very special siblings, Marilyn Clarke of Fulda, Marlene (John) Harbinson of St. Paul and Tom (Shirlene) Ramerth of Dundee, as well as many beloved close friends.

Verdelle taught at Proctor, Worthington, Lonsdale and Lakeville. She was a writer, poet and avid reader. Her faith was an important part of her life as well as social justice.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 2, from 4-7 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, and also one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday.

Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, July 3, at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Michael in Prior Lake. Interment at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Prior Lake. Pallbearers are Jason Bruce, Mark Svihel, Loren McCaghy, Tom Ramerth, John Harbinson and Andy George.
