Last week, the Jordan Police Department responded to 124 incidents – 27 citations, 10 warning citations, and 87 calls for service.
June 19 at 10:44 a.m. – Police responded to a traffic accident on Third Street. A woman backed into a Bobcat, causing damage to the rear bumper of her vehicle. There was no damage to the Bobcat or injuries reported.
June 19 at 3:57 p.m. – An officer stopped a man for driving after revocation and issued a citation for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on Helena Boulevard.
June 19 4:54 p.m. – A man reported vandalism to the back of his building in the 100 block of W. First St. A neighbor’s vehicle was also spray painted, and the windows were broken out.
June 19 at 10:47 p.m. – An anonymous person reported a group of juveniles throwing eggs at vehicles in the 100 block of W. First St. An officer checked the area, but the juveniles were gone.
June 19 at 11:26 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of an alleged underage drinking party in the 100 block of First St. The officers were unable to make contact with parties who were in the house.
June 20 at 1:15 a.m. – Officers responded to a fight at a business in the 200 block of S. Broadway St. A man was arrested for disorderly conduct and smoking in a public facility. The man was transported to the Scott County jail for booking and then to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.
June 20 at 2:29 a.m. – Police responded to a medical situation in the 200 block of E. Second St. Ridgeview Ambulance transported a woman to St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
June 21 at 2:57 a.m. – Police arrested a woman for alleged fourth-degree DWI and also cited her for giving the officer a false name and date of birth. The incident occurred on Johnson Memorial Drive.
June 21 at 7:41 a.m. – Police responded to a medical situation in the 100 block of W. Fourth St. Allina Ambulance transported a man to St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
June 21 at 5:02 p.m. – Police responded to a medical situation in the 100 block of W. Fourth St. An officer and Allina Ambulance assisted a woman who had fallen. There were no injuries.
June 21 at 6:22 p.m. – An officer responded to the 700 block of Northland Court for a report of out-of-control juveniles. Two juvenile females were placed at Scott County Juvenile Alternative Facility in Sand Creek Township.
June 22 at 4:21 a.m. – An officer responded to a noise complaint regarding loud music and alleged fighting in the 200 block of S. Broadway St. All was quiet when the officer arrived, and the officer was unable to make contact with anyone involved.
June 22 at 10:45 a.m. – A woman reported harassment by juveniles in her neighborhood. An officer contacted all parties involved and advised.
June 22 at 12:12 p.m. – A woman reported alleged vandalism to her car. The car was sprayed with white paintballs on the windshield and hood. The woman washed the vehicle, and there was no damage. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Chad Circle.
June 22 at 1:15 p.m. – An officer received a call for a shoplifting complaint from a business in the 400 block of Seville Drive. The total loss is $12.99.
June 22 at 9:09 p.m. – An officer issued a citation to a juvenile male for driving with no Minnesota driver’s license. The incident occurred at the intersection of Quaker Avenue and Johnson Memorial Drive.
June 22 at 11:09 p.m. – An officer stopped a driver for a stop sign violation at the intersection of South Mertens and West First streets. A 19-year-old man was issued a citation for stop sign and instructional permit violation.
June 23 at 3:23 a.m. – An officer responded to a medical situation in the 700 block of Olympic Hills Court. The officer assisted with patient care until Ridgeview Ambulance arrived.
June 23 at 3:14 p.m. – A man reported that a tire on his vehicle was punctured sometime during the night. The vehicle was parked outside on the street in front of his residence in the 1000 block of Pinehurst Lane. The damage is estimated at $160.
June 23 at 5:03 p.m. – A man reported an alleged vandalism to a car parked in the 400 block of N. Broadway St. The windshield was broken. No estimate of damage was given.
June 24 at 9:09 a.m. – Officers responded to a medical situation in the 300 block of W. Second St. An officer administered oxygen to a man and assisted until Allina Ambulance arrived.
June 24 at 12:45 p.m. – Officers responded to a medical situation in the 200 block of Sunset Drive and assisted a woman until Ridgeview Ambulance arrived and transported her to St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
June 24 at 7:51 p.m. – An officer responded to a verbal domestic situation between a tenant and landlord in the 100 block of Meadow Wood Court. The officer advised both parties involved and the landlord left for the night.
June 25 3:39 p.m. – Police responded to a medical situation in the 100 block of Chad Circle. Officers assisted a woman until Ridgeview Ambulance arrived and transported her to the hospital.
June 26 at 11:53 a.m. – Police responded to a motor-vehicle accident at the intersection of Syndicate and West Fourth streets. A car grazed a utility pole. There was minimal damage to the vehicle and pole, and no injuries were reported. Xcel Energy was contacted and advised.
June 26 at 7:18 p.m. – An officer responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Broadway and Mill streets. A tree fell onto a man’s truck as he was driving by, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported. Jordan Public Works was called to remove the tree branches that were blocking the southbound lane.
June 27 at 1:48 a.m. – Police received a noise complaint regarding loud teenagers at the playground along Augusta Court. The teens were gone when the officers arrived and the officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.
June 27 at 2:22 a.m. – A business owner along Broadway Street requested an officer to assist with getting people out of the area. One man was taken into custody and transported the detoxification center at the Brown County Evaluation Center in New Ulm.
June 27 at 9:20 a.m. – Police responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on Water Street involving a car and a parked vehicle. A state report was required. State reports are required for accidents that occur on a public roadway and/or if damage is estimated at more than $1,000.
June 27 at 10:04 p.m. – Police responded to a property damage accident that occurred in the lot of the McDonalds along Triangle Lane. No injuries were reported and there was minor damage to two vehicles.
June 27 at 10:46 p.m. – An officer was called to the 900 block of Seventh St. for a verbal dispute between neighbors. The officer advised all parties involved.
June 27 at 11:57 p.m. – An officer responded to a disturbance at a business along Eldorado Drive. A man was harassing the manager of the business, and the manager requested the man be removed. The officer assisted by transporting the man to a residence in the Valley Green Park community.
June 28 at 1:04 a.m. – A man was intoxicated and attempting to walk to an address along Syndicate Street. The man was sent without incident to the detoxification center at the Brown County Evaluation Center.
June 28 at 2:13 a.m. – Police arrested a woman for alleged fourth-degree DWI and transported to the Scott County jail. The incident occurred at the intersection of Johnson Memorial Drive and Broadway Street.
June 28 at 4:03 p.m. – Police arrested a man for alleged third-degree DWI and transported to the Scott County jail. The incident occurred on Johnson Memorial Drive.
June 28 at 11:33 p.m. – An officer responded to a call regarding a barking dog in the 900 block of Seventh St. The officer issued a citation for the dog barking ordinance and gave it to the dog’s owner.
