Police respond to accidents, medical calls

Last week, the Jordan Police Department responded to 108 incidents – 11 citations, 22 warning citations, and 75 calls for service.

April 26 at 11:23 p.m. – An unknown 911 call was received from an address along Juergens Circle. Officers responded to the address and found a man intoxicated and out of control. The man was transported to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee and placed on a 72-hour hold.

April 26 at 11:48 p.m. – Officers responded to a call of an allegedly suicidal man with a gun near the intersection of Mill and First streets. The officers located the man and transported him to St. Francis Regional Medical Center for a 72-hour health-and-safety hold.

April 27 at 3:01 a.m. – Officers assisted the Belle Plaine Police Department with an intoxicated man who was passed out in his vehicle.

April 27 at 9:18 a.m. – An officer was called to a business in the 100 block of E. First St. for a reported theft that occurred the night before. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office investigations unit was called to process the crime scene.

April 27 at 12:37 p.m. – An officer was called to a verbal domestic situation in Valley Green Mobile Home Park. A man agreed to leave for the day.

April 28 at 4:57 p.m. – Loud music was reported along Evergreen Circle. An officer spoke with a person at the residence, and the person turned the music down.

April 28 at 7:12 p.m. – Officers responded to a medical call in the 100 block of Chad Circle. A woman was transported by Ridgeview Ambulance to St. Francis Regional Medical Center.

April 28 at 8:20 p.m. – A gas station along Triangle Lane reported a gas drive-off. An officer sent a letter to the registered owner of the vehicle requesting payment, after a license plate number was obtained.

April 29 at 3:23 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 700 block of Seville Drive. Property was damaged, the drivers of the vehicles exchanged information, and the officer completed a state accident report.

April 29 at 8:51 p.m. – A man was arrested on a warrant and was transported to the Scott County jail for booking.

April 30 at 10:59 a.m. – A business in the 300 block of 190th St. reported criminal damage to an enclosed trailer parked on the property. Information was taken for a report.

April 30 at 6:13 p.m. – An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding near the intersection of highways 21 and 169. The driver had no insurance, so the vehicle was towed and she was given transportation home.

April 30 at 10:15 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the parking lot of a business along Triangle Lane. The vehicle in question left before the officer arrived. The officer searched the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

May 1 at 3:13 a.m. – A suspicious boy knocking on the window of a house along Oak Circle was reported. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the boy.

May 1 at 10:21 a.m. – Officers assisted Scott County Human Services on a report of child protection. The report was forwarded to the Scott County Attorney’s Office for review and possible charges.

May 1 at 10:23 a.m. – An officer responded to a physical domestic situation reported in the 800 block of Bradbury Circle. A 46-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 31-year-old woman at the residence. The man fled before officers arrived. Ridgeview Ambulance Service transported the woman to St. Francis Regional Medical Center. A citation for domestic assault was issued and mailed to the man.

May 1 at 1:30 p.m. – A gas station along Triangle Lane reported a patron who was unable to pay for the $45 worth of gas that was pumped into her vehicle. Information was taken from the woman, and she was advised that she should return within 24 hours to pay for the gas.

May 1 at 3:33 p.m. – An officer received a call about a train and motorcycle accident near the intersection of Quaker and Syndicate streets. The Minnesota State Patrol wrote the report on the accident and conducted the traffic reconstruction of the scene.

May 1 at 4:40 p.m. – An officer responded to a medical call in the 300 block of N. Wood St. The officer administered oxygen to a person there, and Allina Ambulance arrived and assisted with the call.

May 1 at 5:04 p.m. – A gas station along Broadway St. reported a gas drive-off for the amount of $52.73. A license plate number was obtained from the vehicle, and the registered owner will receive a letter requesting payment.

May 1 at 5:48 p.m. – An officer advised a mother and daughter who were having a reported domestic dispute in the 100 block of Chad Circle.

May 2 at 12:30 a.m. – An officer responded to a noise complaint in the 400 block of Sunset Drive. The officer met with two individuals who were advised to keep the noise down.

May 2 at 12:23 p.m. – An officer responded to a reported out-of-control student at a school along Hope Avenue. The boy was transported to the Scott County juvenile alternative facility.

May 2 at 9:35 p.m. – An officer responded to a report of an intoxicated man along Juergens Circle. The man was placed on a 72-hour health-and-safety hold.

May 2 at 10:36 p.m. –Officers responded to a noise complaint along Evergreen Circle. The noise of a loud stereo was reportedly coming from a residence. The officers spoke with the residents and advised them of the complaint.

May 3 at 12:46 a.m. – An officer stopped a vehicle along East Second Street for a traffic violation. A 17-year-old boy was issued a citation for a curfew violation.

May 3 at 1:42 a.m. – Officers responded to a medical call in the 700 block of Herbert St. The officers assisted, and no transport was required.

May 3 at 2:20 p.m. – A boy reportedly fell from a skateboard after riding down a prohibited hill along Hillside Drive. Allina Ambulance transported the boy to St. Francis Regional Medical Center.

May 3 at 9:31 p.m. – An officer responded to a reported verbal domestic situation between two people in the 400 block of Wood St. Both of the people who were allegedly involved agreed to leave each other alone for the night.

May 3 at 10:33 p.m. – An officer responded to a report of a loud woman in the 400 block of Wood St. The officer made contact with the woman and advised her of the complaint.

May 4 at 9:27 a.m. – A noise complaint was reported along Mill Street. An officer spoke with the homeowner, and the music was turned down.

May 4 at 10:09 a.m. – An officer responded to a medical call along Fourth Street. The officer assisted by locating an elderly woman’s daughter, who arrived and took over her mother’s care.

May 4 at 6:03 p.m. – An officer responded to a report of children skateboarding in a church parking lot along North Broadway Street. The officer advised the children, and they left the parking lot.
