A woman 38 weeks pregnant rear-ended a semi on Valley View Drive at about 7:30 this morning.

The driver of the semi, Dana Beuning of Freeport, was backing up on the road because he missed his turn into Siwek Lumber. Sabrina Hurrle of New Prague was hit by the backing semi. Hurrle claimed she couldn't see the white lights on the back of the trailer indicating the semi was moving backwards.

Hurlle's vehicle sustained severe front-end damage, but she was not injured.
