Jordan lost twice to the North Las Vegas Legacy American Legion team on Sunday to finish in second place at the 2008 Central Plains Regional baseball tournament in Pratt, Kan. In the first game, Jordan lost 3-1. Jordan will play at 1 p.m. Sunday in Pratt, Kan. Brewers ousted from state tournamentAugust 17, 2008 - 12:16am — Todd AbelnIt was defense that carried the Jordan Brewers all year. At the state tournament it was their defense that let me down. The Brewers committed five errors in losing 6-4 to the defending state champion Miesville Mudhens on Saturday night at Chaska's Athletic Park. The Brewers led 3-0 after two innings but than committed three errors in the top of the third inning to allow Miesville to score four runs and take the lead. Jordan tied the game in bottom of the fourth on an RBI groundout by Adam Frey.
